Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta (March 28 1986). Pop singer. Lady Gaga. Born in Manhattan, New York. Her mother Cynthia Louise Bissett vice president of mobile provider Verizon. Her father was a successful businessman Joseph Anthony Germanotta Jr. Director of a networking company. Her family was in the elite Upper East Side neighborhood of Manhattan with an elitist Catholic family. Because of this, her parents enrolled her in the Convent of the Sacred Heart an elitist and religious school. She was very fond of music as an infant. She learned how to play the piano and at the age of thirteen, she wrote her first tune. She performed in open mic nights. The singers she admired were queens Michael Jackson Madonna and David Bowie. She took music classes in the Tisch School of Art of New York University after completing her secondary education. However, after finishing high school, she entered the Tisch School for Art at New York University in order to study music.
